No, Investing 101 is not a hard prerequisite for joining SoFI. However, having a basic understanding of finance is important to effectively contribute as a crew member, which is why we strongly encourage you to attend the class. You'll also get exposure to CFA charterholder speaker sessions, real-world case studies, practical applications, and much more.
Yes! SoFI organizes three outings during the year, which are either partially or fully sponsored. And that's not all - we also believe in rewarding our Core and Crew members for their contributions through treats, incentives, and other team activities.
Yes. A significant part of SoFI's work involves solving real-world financial problems for actual clients. As you build your skills and demonstrate enthusiasm, you'll have opportunities to work on client projects, interact with clients, and understand how finance works beyond the textbooks.

You'll build your understanding of finance concepts from your first year while simultaneously developing practical skills, project experience, and industry exposure.
